Program platforms
Program Media Library Studio is written in Java from Sun. and it is platform and OS independent.
That means Java Runtime Enviroment is interface between operation system and Java program.
Theoretically it is possible to run program on all platforms where is possible to download Java Runtime Enviroment.
Program is tested on Windows XP and it run without problems. For other platforms it is recommended
to download trial version of program and try it. When trial version will run,
complete version will run OK too. If you will have problems with program send me
error on my e-mail and I will try to correct the problem.

Java installation
- For executing this program it is necessary to download
Java Runtime Enviroment version 6.0 update 2 or higher.
- Check existence Java version on your computer. Write java -version and you will see which version of Java do you have.
- When your version of Java is older, you can download actual version from Java Sun Download Center.
- Here you choose link Download JRE 6.0 Update 2 or higher.
- On next page, accept License Agreement and choose download for your platform. For example for Windows OS choose Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language.
- Download begins in a short time.
- Install Java Runtime Enviroment from downloaded exe file.

Windows program installation
- After installing correct Java Runtime Enviroment you can install Media Library Studio program.
- When you download program, you will download instalation program mls.exe.
- This installation contains necessary files for execution.
- Place file into directory, where you want install Media Library Studio. For example Program Files\Media Library Studio
- Installation create files mls.jar, mls.bat, mls.ico, CDDriveWin.dll and setup.exe.
- Installation also create shortcut on desktop.
- Media Library Studio you can execute by double-clicking on desktop icon, or with mls.bat.
- First execution of program, prepare all necessary databases for using of Media Library Studio program.

Other OS program installation
- After installing correct Java Runtime Enviroment you can install Media Library Studio program.
- When you download program, you will download file mls.jar.
- Place mls.jar on your local disk, where you want install Media Library Studio. It is recommended to place it in new folder for this application
- Program you can execute with command java -jar mls.jar.
- The best solution is create command file where you write command above, for example mls.cmd.
- It is a good practice to create shortcut for this batch file on desktop.
- For other OS than Windows, CDDB is not supported. It is recomended to unselect check box Read CDDB info for audio CD in Properties window.
